Fourth day on ski

I haven't been on skies that much today. I was from the early morning to lunch. It was great to be out in the lovely weather with sunshine, fresh air and good company. I was on the black mountain today after lunch and rolled down on my butt. It was so funny! After dinner I tried a snow scooter! How cool is that!? I want one xD but it never snows that much in Denmark.. It has been such a great week, good company, fantastic weather (though I hoped for northern lights), great food and a healthy feeling in my body. So I'm going home tomorrow night and I kinda fear the boat.. What if I get sea sick again? Well, I'm glad I found a girl who's just as crazy about Daryl Dixon as I am xD.
I can't wait to watch the next episode of The Walking Dead, my internet is just too unstable here so I have to wait.

Third day on ski

Okay, I reached my limit. I took the green mountain and that was cool, but the weather got bad and I had to take the red one down. I was so scared I can't believe how my body reacted. I took off my skies and climbed down. It was lovely to eat waffles afterwards. I normally don't consider myself a chicken, but this one was too much for my nerves. But now I know what I'm gonna do for the rest of the week, I'm gonna stay along with the children and pick them up when they can't control what they are doing, or they fall down from the lift, oh those small poor things xD
It may sound boring, but when I can't stop, then I just simply don't dare wild things. But I'm gonna try a snow scooter tomorrow! Amazing :D
I'm really tired now.

Second day on ski

wow, I somehow survived the blue mountain o.o
After I was getting good at the beginner mountain I took the next step to the green one. It was a challenge but funny to try. I never got friends with the lift though. But to get down from the green area I had to take the red or blue mountain. I chose the blue since it was less dangerous, but the jumpers and snow boarders use it much which means there are many jumps and I was so scared to hit one of them by accident. But I came down in one piece. After dinner we went on after skiing. It was so embarrassing! I couldn't see anything so I jumped off the lift too early and I couldn't help it.. I ended in some soft snow and I couldn't get up xD. Karina helped me, I seriously don't know what I should do without her. But it's the green mountain again tomorrow and then the blue.. I'm scared, but I keep my head up!

I can feel every single piece of my body and it hurts, but I ignore the pain.

First day on ski

Hey

What a day! I'm so happy that I usually excersize, this is so hard on my body. I stayed all day with the beginners since I have never tried this before. The first time was so scary but I'm good at facing my fears. I fell a million times, I couldn't turn around and I screamed a lot. I even invented 'Emma style' as the kids now call it, I just simply sat down on my butt and let the ski drive me down. It was so funny and the kids imitated it xD it's funny to try something new and challenging, I love to challenge myself. I hate to do the same thing over and over, everybody can do that. I needed a new pair of gloves since mine weren't waterproof enough to my kind of falling down and eat the snow. I tried to speak Norwegian to the lady in the shop but I have no idea if she understood me xD
I think I'm having a good time and even though I feel like I will never learn this, I think I will continue 'till I can say "at least I tried". The little kids totally owned me. But I think they are more fearless. I'm sweating so much, I thought that I would get cold but it's so different here, it's no near the Danish climate. Being a leader of the club is difficult when you can't ski.
But I'm tired now, like crazy..

Days in Norway

Hey

So I arrived in Norway today and I have to say that I'm not much of a viking.. I got seasick!
Haha, ok, anyways. I was the only one who understood what the bus driver said. I guess I'm a little more used to Norwegian than the rest of the flock are.
I have never been skiing before, so I'm very exiting about tomorrow! xD
I have to own my younger brother in this one, he's that kind of boy who just knows everything about surviving in the wilderness. I wanna know it too.
Just because he's 10 times bigger and stronger than me, it doesn't mean he has to be better than me in everything.
It's very beautiful up here, and I hope to take some fantastic pictures from the mountains. I love taking picture of nature and I love snow. There hasn't been much snow in Denmark this year, it's a bit sad. Global warming I guess?
Well, I'm the only one with internet up here. I'm surprised that I have full 4G here in the middle of nowhere, but on the other hand I have it in Sweden too and that's even more in the middle of nowhere.
Well, if I haven't broken all my bones by tomorrow, then I will write about my first time on the Gautefall.
