Copenhell festival (Alice Cooper)

Sadly for me I could only stay for one day on this amazing festival. I arrived in Copenhagen on Wednesday to visit my grandparents and the next day I went on shopping in inner Copenhagen and bought some new 'Walking Dead' merch and some vinyls.

At 1 pm the doors to Copenhell opened and I was met with a small local band and some food stands. I met some people who congratulated me with my student cap and asked me why it is covered with Stars and Stripes. Everybody were in a good mood and some were already drunk... Typical Danes.
I was waiting for Alice Cooper to perform. Meanwhile I walked around in the areas as they opened up and took pictures like a tourist.
The entrance

I thought this was a church performing Satanist rituals

But it turned out to be a snaps bar! xD I got a free snaps because I was wearing my student cap!

A witch in the middle of everything.

I went shopping and bought some new shorts.
I was burning in the heat! I came from Northern Jutland with 14 degrees and rain to 27 degrees and burning sun.
A band from Germany was performing at the stage called Hades and meanwhile they had the full festivals audience's attention I sneaked up front at the big stage called Helviti and waited for the clock to turn 7:15 pm. As the other band finished a stream of people went right behind me and they were yelling, throwing beer and they pushed hard... I was so happy for my ear protectors! The concert began right on time and even though Alice Cooper is an elderly man he can still move around on stage!

The opening with this big banner. The people in front of me were V.I.P's (or R.I.P's as they are called here) they were allowed to take pictures inside of the railing. Standing front row I got some pretty good pictures myself :)

I reached up my student cap and screamed along with him on 'School's out.'

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton joined him on stage XD
Everyone around me threw around with things and yelled "F**K Trump."

Vote for Alice cooper this year!!

As you can see on some of the pictures above the clouds were turning dark and it began to rain. Scorpions were meant to perform at 10.30 pm but some people around said it would be cancelled due to a big thunderstorm coming up. I stayed for some time to see but then the thunderstorm began. I thought it would just be a few lightnings and then it would pas. The thunder continued and it rained harder and harder so I left and drove home to my older sister living about an hour away from Copenhagen. The thunder continued until 5 am next day and I have never experienced that in Denmark ever before! It's a shame I didn't get to see Scorpions and to be honest, I don't know if they performed anyway but hopefully I will get the chance again some day!

All I can say is that this place is amazing and I can recommend it for any Rock and Roll lover wanting a good time with good music!
And if you are a tourist then you will meet the danish goth/punk culture and heavy drinkers.

Have a nice day :)

Forever Still

Hey,

I would like to review one of my favorite bands at the time. I have been a fan for about a year and I have seen them live once.
The band was formed in the underground of Copenhagen and has developed to become a very famous in England and other European countries.
The genre is hard rock, metal and other subgenres in this area.
The band is playing in Sweden and 2 places in Germany this summer.

My personal favorite songs are 'Save me' and 'Awake the fire.'
They appeal to me in many ways and the music is hard and just the way I want it.
Here is my merchandize collection bought from their website http://foreverstill.dk/

Seeing them live:
It was at the W.O.A metal battle in Aalborg, Denmark  saw them live this April. I was there front row! It was a rather cool experience also because I paid very little for the ticket to see 6 bands live. And it was worth everything. (Even coming home very late when I had to get up early and work the next day.)

I also met Maja as she signed my Breaking Free CD and she was very nice and open to met a big fan. I think she was a little bit surprised that I came over to ask for her signature before the band had performed but I recognized her right away. I also had a photo with her. I can only recommend that if you like Rock and Roll then you will give this band a chance and support them by buying some of their merchandize and maybe even see them live some time. They are awesome! And they are so full of energy and they really seem passionated by performing, giving everything they can and please the audience :) I hope to see them live in Sweden this summer if I can manage it!

Have a nice day :)
Maja and I :)
